There Are Not Enough Words

January 5, 2014
We built a snowman family to announce that our family was expecting to adopt a little girl. We had no idea who that girl would be. Across the world, on this very same cold morning, she was born.

Our daughter's first birthday. Our paperwork was delayed, and our agency wouldn't allow us to send a cake or gifts until we had formal approval from China to adopt our sweet Iris. There was cake, a candle, a couple of gifts, and an empty chair here at home. There were tears, a lot of tears, and a longing to hold our sweet baby and tell her how treasured she was already.

There aren't enough words to describe what a difference a year makes.  So, I'll borrow some, and let the pictures do the talking....

Proverbs 13:12
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”

Pure joy.

Beauty.

Gifts.

Togetherness.

Celebration.

Happy 2nd birthday, sweet daughter!

  1. I would like to thank Ultimate Life Clinic for reversing my father's Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). My father’s ALS condition was fast deteriorating before he started on the ALS Herbal medicine treatment from Ultimate Life Clinic. He was on the treatment for just 6 months and we never thought my father will recover so soon. He has gained some weight in the past months and he is able to walk with no support. You can reach them through there website www.ultimatelifeclinic.com
